Mateo Garbarino is an undergraduate student at Concordia University in Political Sciences. His interests focus on religion, politics, and intersectionality, with a particular interest in the role religion can play in the defence of human rights and democracy. Recently, he has worked with non-profits promoting the defence of migrant agricultural workers and their labour rights within the province of Quebec.
He is a former CCRL Civic Literacy Youth Network participant.
He joins CCRL now as a Junior Program Manager to support the Hope Network programming in Montreal.
